Wish the game engine had a proper night time. I would love that blizzard do that with day/night Comment by series6 on T21:12:17-06:00 Why does Blizzard insist on defaulting the nights to look like they're saturated with light pollution ? Comment by Angelhk on T20:59:59-06:00 When you get the Cradle mount in Ardenweald the NPC applies a "Moonsight" buff on you. I keep using these types of effects to potentially find things. The legion vision toy is also pretty interesting too. Players don't see the Maw in that state until that big event happens at the finale of the leveling campaign. You might want to put a spoiler tag on those shots where the Maw is visible from Oribos. Literally the dark mode of WOW, I store a lot of this potion for playing at night. I love this but it’s too dark for me when I’m actually playing. This was probably my favourite item in BFA.Īlthough saying that, is there a day/night cycle in the Shadowlands? I spend a lot of time in Bastion and the lighting doesn't seem to change a great deal. Comment by offspinner on T18:54:36-06:00Īnd for those us who prefer the opposite, the Jar of Sunwarmed Sand (available for 1000 Timewarped Badges), presents the world as it is at noon. Looks amazing, would be nice addition to make it a toggle thing for people who want that. I wish it did not change the sky in Ardenweald. I'm surprised there aren't any shots of The Maw, it works in there too and it looks nice. Now THAT is a Shadowlands! Comment by JotaroKujo on T18:41:49-06:00 This is the real night we all need in our lives Comment by tmptfate on T18:39:28-06:00 I actually use these while questing/world questing as it helps see some hidden items. Would also be nice if it didn't remove other weather effects, like rain (I really like a good heavy rain, both ingame and irl) and snow. they're not all that expensive, but I do wish blizz would consider a new toy version (or even a setting) that allowed 24/7 uptime. especially if I'm dying a lot (looking at you pvp. I don't half get through them a bit though. Also helps dim my screen a little (which as someone with a bit of a sensitivity to light, is nice :P ).

Gorgeous! Comment by Turowai on T18:33:42-06:00Īs someone who plays with these potions on 99.9% of the time (only not on when I'm dead and/or have temporarily run out and need a restock from my banker's guild bank), on all char's, I can confirm that this is indeed the best part of DMF! :PĪbsolutely love the effect it brings.

Inky Black Potion always makes everything look better. Be sure to click on an image to see a larger version and open the click-through gallery. Here is a gallery of some of our favorite shots. The anima siphoning from Castle Nathria, the destruction that Maldraxxas has wrought in the west of Bastion. One of the most notable things about touring with the buff on, is that things that might normally blend into the milieu pop out starkly, and remind us why we are here. From the fungi of Maldraxxas to the Ember Ward of Revendreth, to Bastion and Ardenweald's amazing flora, and even the space between the zones where Oribos floats, we present Shadowlands by night. We took a tour of the Shadowlands, while under the influence. The more photo tools you have to experiment with, the better. Then, of course, you can continue to play with the levels of opacity, light, shadows, contrast, and make the overlays more or less obvious. Fans of this vision altering concoction have marveled at the beauty of Azeroth plunged into glorious night since Rona was added to the Faire in Legion. Basically, all you have to do is drag and drop the textures in the Layers palette and then apply them to your images. This innocuous looking potion can be purchased from Rona Greenteeth for, and upon imbibement grants you Inky Blackness for two hours, showing you the world in a whole new light.or actually, dark. You might think it's the games, or the mounts and toys, or even the leveling buffs. The Darkmoon Faire is back in town for the week, and with it comes the very best thing from that island of amusement.
